The Backswing of Business: Golf Range and Networking is an opportunity for youth, men, and women of all ages, ethnicities, and golf skill levels to gather together to enjoy hitting golf balls, great food, and a lot of fun and networking. There will be golf workshops, door prizes, networking games, and so much more.

If you have always wanted to try the game of golf and do not have a set of golf clubs, this event is great for you as well. Golf clubs will be available for your use and golf workshops will be conducted. If you are a business owner and want to share your business with others, this event is great for you as well.
All workshops registration start at 9:00am. The attire is non-jean bottoms and sneakers. (Golf attire is acceptable as well) This event will take place every third Saturday (April - October) at the Northlake Golf Club. Youth (6 to 18) are FREE. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. That includes a bucket of balls, food, water, networking opportunity, and eligibility to win door prizes. ALL proceeds go to A Perfect Swing Foundation, our non-profit youth initiative. So, grab your family and business cards and come on out!

Dr. Kathryn Moland is a PMP certified Project Manager with over 20 years of extensive software development and project management experience, as well as over 10 years of academic experience as both faculty and Chair. She’s currently employed as a Computer and Electronics Engineering Technologies Division Chair for Surry Community College.

Frances is now a practicing certified aromatherapist in which she encourages a holistic approach to living.

Mitzi Nelson has been sharing the game of golf for many years in the Charlotte, NC area as a Golf Teaching Professional. She also has over 20 years of accounting experience. She currently works as a Golf Teaching Professional and Certified Public Accountant at Walter R. Nelson CPA. She’s also the Manager at Northlake Golf Club and Director of Music at Davidson Presbyterian Church.
